  • Mini Program Data Assistant

    • # Overview

    Mini Program Data Assistant is an official Mini Program released on the Weixin Official Accounts Platform. It enables developers and operators to view the operational data of their own Mini Programs. Scan the following Mini Program code to try it now.

    The current functional modules of Mini Program Data Assistant include data overview, basic visit analysis (including user trends, source analysis, retention analysis, stay time analysis, and screen details), real-time statistics, and user portrait (including the age, gender, province/city, mobile device, and model). The data is the same as that in the regular analysis conducted in the Mini Program console.

    # How to Use

    Mini Program admin: Open Mini Program Data Assistant and select the linked Mini Program to view the data.

    Other Weixin users: View the data of the Mini Program upon authorization by the admin.

    Admin grants authorization

    1. Tap the upper left menu and select Authorize from the navigation page.
    2. Enter a Weixin ID in the search box or select a Weixin ID from the Mini Program Developers/Trial Users, and tap Authorize.
    3. After authorization, the authorized user is notified of a template message.

    Admin cancels authorization

    1. Tap the upper left menu and select Authorize from the navigation page.
    2. In the list of authorized users, swipe left to cancel authorization. After authorization is canceled, the user no longer has the permission to view data of the Mini Program.

    The permission to query Mini Program data can also be authorized to users in the Mini Program console. Go to the User Status settings, and select Data Analysis. Then, users can view the data by using the Mini Program Data Assistant. If the number of authorized users exceed the upper limit, you can cancel authorization to some users and try again.

    Switching between the data of different Mini Programs

    If you are the admin of multiple Mini Programs or are authorized to view the data of multiple Mini Programs, you can switch between the data of the Mini Programs via the Mini Program Data Assistant.

    1. Open the Mini Program Data Assistant, and select the desired Mini Program from the list.
    2. Tap the upper left menu and select Switch from the navigation page. Then, select the desired Mini Program from the list.
