1 Mini Program infringement complaint

If you believe that someone is using a name that infringe on your legal rights, you can file a complaint. It may take 7 business days to resolve if you have an Official Account, and 15 business days if you don't. If the complaint is upheld, the accused has 7 days to appeal. If the appeal fails, the name will be released.

2 Change of a Mini Program name

Log in to the Mini Program console on Weixin Official Accounts Platform by scanning the QR code. Click the profile photo -> "Settings" -> "Basic Information" -> "Mini Program Name" -> "Modify". After the admin scans the QR code for verification, you can access the modification page. If the new name hits any restricted words, it will require additional approval before the change can be completed.

Note: Mini Programs and Official Accounts under the same entity can have the same name. If the new name potentially includes restricted words, the review process may take up to 7 business days.
