By linking a Mini Program to a hardware device (non-general-purpose computing device), the Mini Program can run on the device without opening the Weixin app. This feature is available on Android devices. General-purpose computing devices include, but are not limited to, smartphones, laptops, desktop computers, and general-use tablets.
Linking setup:
Mini Programs can be linked with hardware devices by default. To disable this option, log in to Weixin Official Accounts Platform and navigate to "Settings" -> "Basic Settings". Once disabled, no additional hardware devices can link with the Mini Program, but the Mini Program can continue running on previously linked devices.
Additionally, developers can prohibit hardware devices from running the Mini Program by not using scene value 1133 (a configuration that allows the Mini Program to run on hardware devices) in the Mini Program code.
