The Common Refusal of Weixin Mini Program Platform

​ In addition to the common refusal of Weixin Mini Program platform, developers should also follow the Weixin Mini Program Platform Service Termsand relevant rules and regulations published by Tencent.

1. Basic Account Information

1.1 The name, introduction, logo, service scope, service tag and basic account information of the Mini Program shall not:

(1) Infringe on the rights and interests of others (copyright, trademark right, right of portrait, right of reputation, etc.), including but not limited to using or containing contents like brands or trademarks and logos that do not belong to the entity of the Mini Program, or similar contents, information, and special marks. Example: Check whether the name and introduction contain rights and interests of Mini Program that do not belong to the account.

​(2) Contain commercial terms, names of popular Mini Programs, and words such as "national-level" or "superlative" that are clearly forbidden by the new advertising law, or other irrelevant words.

​(3) Contain political, pornographic, sensitive, violent, bloody, terror-related content or any other illegal content that is forbidden by state laws and regulations.

1.2 Special Rules

1.2.1 The Name and Introduction of Mini Program:

​(1) The introduction of Mini Program should clearly include function points of the Mini Program and should not use vague expression. For example, the Mini Program is designed to enhance the user's taste of life or improve their shopping experience. Example: Several function points of the Mini Program can be extracted from the introduction.

​(2) The meaning expressed by the information of name and introduction must be related and consistent, which should stay the same with the actual functions and shouldn't contain any search buzzwords irrelevant to its functions. Example: The name of Mini Program or the split word can be found in the introduction.

​(3) The Mini Program cannot be named after the generalized induction category such as telephone, mail, calendar and Mini Game, the generic game name category such as Landlords and Mahjong, or other common and unrecognized words. Example: The name shall not be a single word, but a combination of two or more words. When it cannot be determined, the auditor can make subjective judgement.

1.2.2 The Profile Photo Logo of Mini Program:

​(1) The Mini Program with low definition of profile photo logo won't be approved. Example: It is unable to see, distinguish or identify elements contained in the image, such as text, objects, shapes, etc.

​(2) The profile photo logo of Mini Program should be consistent with its name and introduction.

(3) The profile photo logo of Mini Program shall not contain the logos of Tencent, Weixin and other official brands.

1.2.3 The Service Scope and Label of Mini Programs:

​The service label set by the Mini Program should be consistent with the selected service scope. Its label cannot exceed service scope. Example: The service scope is housekeeping, while the service label is food.

2. Service Category Verification

​Service category means that developers select the corresponding industry scope in the classification and grading table provided by the platform according to the type of service provided by the Mini Program and the service content involved.

2.1 The category of Mini Program should be consistent with the services it provides.

​2.1.1 The core content of the page that corresponds to the service category of Mini Program must be consistent with the service category.

​2.1.2 Users must be guaranteed to use the service category on this page, which should not be hided or redirected by multiple times.

2.1.3 You need to carefully select the service category based on the actual scope of services provided. Once you have selected the game category, such category cannot be changed to other Mini Program categories.

​Example:

​(1) The link to the service category of Mini Program cannot be opened normally.

​(2) The link to the service category of Mini Program is loaded with illegal information.

​(3) The link to the service category of Mini Program is loaded with malicious and pornographic advertisements.

​(4)The link to the service category of Mini Program is loaded with contents infringing other's rights and interests; It contains commercial terms, names of popular Mini Programs, and words such as "national-level" or "superlative" that are clearly forbidden by the new advertising law, or other irrelevant words, but doesn't contain political, pornographic, sensitive, violent, bloody, terror-related content or any other illegal content that is forbidden by state laws and regulations.

3. The Overall Verification Rules of the Mini Program

3.1 Verification of Basic Functions of the Mini Program

​3.1.1 The function points actually provided by the Mini Program shall be consistent with its introduction. Example: Functions include but do not limited to the function points refined from the introduction;

​3.1.2 All service category functions provided by the Mini Program must be reflected on the homepage of the Mini Program, i.e. the homepage of the Mini Program must be able to reach all service category pages submitted in the Article 2 (Service Category Verification) of this document directly or after two clicks.

​3.1.3 The services actually provided by the Mini Program shall not fall within the scope that has not yet been released. It should not exceed the category library scope already released by the Mini Program platform.

​3.1.4 If there is a hidden or fee-based function in the Mini Program (e.g. only visible after charging, only visible for memberships, etc.), the implementation of this function shall not contain pornographic, violent, politically sensitive contents or other illegal and irregular contents, and the test account provided by the developer shall be able to fully present and experience such function;

​3.1.5 The function of the Mini Program should have use value and should not be too simple. Example: there is only one page and one button.

​3.1.6 Without the authorization from Tencent, it is not allowed to provide functions that are the same as or similar to those of Weixin Client in the Mini Program. Example: The functions of Mini Program may not include Moments and Message in a Bottle, etc.

​3.1.7 No third-party Mini Program should be displayed or recommended without the permission or authorization from Tencent. Example: It is prohibited to have Mini Program navigation, mutual promotion of Mini Program links, Mini Program ranking, etc.

​3.1.8 It needs not to follow or use another account as the precondition to use the Mini Program functions. Example: When using Mini Program A, Mini Program B must be used at the same time

3.2 Verification Rules of Page Content of the Mini Program

​3.2.1 If there are induced behaviors in the page content of the Mini Program, including but not limited to induced sharing, induced adding, induced following public accounts and induced downloading, programs that require users to share, add, follow or download before they can use the service, Mini Programs containing text, picture, button, flyout, popup, etc. that explicitly or implicitly instruct users to share, Mini Programs that induce users to share and disseminate via interest enticement, Mini Programs that coerce and entice users to share with exaggerated expressions, and Mini Programs that force or induce users to add Mini Programs, it will be rejected.

​3.2.2 If the page content of the Mini Program are mainly for marketing or advertising purpose (such as containing blank advertising space, investment promotion advertising, etc.), it will be rejected; Example: Floating or suspending advertisement, containing more than 50% of advertisements displayed on the function page, and covering the function with ads.

​3.2.3 If there are rumors in the content page of the Mini Program that mislead the user, arouse the fear of the user, seriously impact the user experience or damage the user's interests, it will be rejected.

​3.2.4 The page content of the Mini Program cannot show test contents, such as soothsaying, drawing lots, horoscopes, etc.

​3.2.5 There should be no false or fraudulent content in the page content of the Mini Program, including but not limited to false red packet, false activities, promotion or sales of goods infringing other's legitimate rights and interests, phishing Tencent's official or other businesses, and other content and services that may cause confusion to Weixin users.

​3.2.6 The page of the Mini Program cannot contain such contents as disseminating harassment, advertising and spam information.

​3.2.7 The page of the Mini Program shall not contain any content that may violate any service agreement, platform agreement or function agreement you have signed with Tencent.

​3.2.8 The Mini Program will be rejected if it publishes, transmits, disseminates or stores information that violates national laws and regulations or contains the following information:

  3.2.8.1 Mini Program that opposes basic principles established by the Constitution, endangers national security, reveals state secrets, subverts state power, sabotages national unity, and undermines national honor and interests.

​  3.2.8.2 Any Mini Program with false or fraudulent contents will not be approved;

​  3.2.8.3 Any Mini Program to summon, promote or instigate crimes or acts that obviously infringe on the good customs of the society will not be approved;

​  3.2.8.4 Any Mini Program that contains content prohibited by laws and regulations will not be approved;

  ​3.2.8.5 Any Mini Program that contains anti-government, anti-social or non-mainstream political behavior, or inflammatory political speech or content prohibited by national laws, or information about spreading rumors, disrupting social order and undermining social stability, will not be approved;

  ​3.2.8.6 Mini Programs cannot contain pornographic material (i.e. it is intended to arouse sexual desire with a clear description or display of sexual organs or behaviors, regardless of aesthetics), or information suspected of propagating obscene and pornographic content, including sexually explicit images, provocative content, etc., or information involving illegal pornographic transactions;

  ​3.2.8.7 Mini Programs cannot contain any content inciting ethnic hatred, ethnic discrimination, undermining national unity, undermining the national religious policy, and promoting cults and feudal superstition;

  ​3.2.8.8 Mini Programs that contain real pictures showing people or animals that are killed, maimed, shot, pricked or otherwise injured, or any content describing violence or child abuse, or containing propaganda of violent bloody content, or including information of insulting or slandering others and infringing on others' legitimate rights and interests, will be rejected;

  ​3.2.8.9 Mini Programs cannot contain gambling, prize-winning contests and lotteries. If a Mini Program offering game category services provides virtual props and value-added services by random selection, it shall not induce users to participate in the game by directly investing in legal tender or virtual currency;

  3.2.8.10 Mini Programs cannot contain any content that induces minors to violate public morality, break the law and commit crimes as well as any content that impairs minors' physical and psychological health.

3.2.9 Pictures in Mini Programs cannot contain advertisements, websites or false content.

3.2.10 Before publishing, sending or transferring any content on behalf of the user, Mini Programs must obtain the explicit consent and authorization of the user.

3.2.11 Service providers of Mini Programs must provide measures to filter inappropriate content. Example: Set up measures to prompt to filter out words suspected of violating laws and regulations, such as publishing words related to pornography and gambling.

3.2.12 There cannot be any misleading or incorrect suggestion that Tencent has any cooperation, investment or endorsement relationship with the Mini Program in the pages of the Mini Program, such as misleading or incorrect suggestion that Tencent is the operator of the Mini Program, or that Tencent recognizes its quality, service or any cooperation relationship with it in any form, neglecting the fact that the Mini Program is not actually operated by Tencent.

3.3 Availability and Integrity

3.3.1 The submitted Mini Program must be a finished product, which is required to be openable and operable, and cannot be a beta version. Examples: Inoperable, Crash, Flashback, No Response from Button, Incomplete Text, etc.

3.3.2 Mini Programs that will collapse by itself, or will cause the Weixin client to collapse will be rejected.

3.3.3 Mini Programs with serious bugs (such as unable to add and open, unable to return and exit, and serious lagging, etc.) will be rejected.

3.3.4 If there is an account system in the Mini Program, you need to provide the test number, including the account and password (you can experience all functions).

3.4 User Privacy and Data Security

3.4.1 When collecting and using any data from users, the user must be clearly informed of the purpose of the data to ensure that it gains the user's explicit consent and authorization, and the data should be reasonably used within the scope of the user's consent and authorization. The relevant data should be deleted after the user cancels the account. The data includes, but is not limited to, obtaining geographic location, user's contacts, user mobile number, etc.

3.4.2 It's not allowed to request or induce the user to enter the user name or password of Weixin on any page of the Mini Program.

3.4.3 It's not allowed to add the Search Mini Program function to the Mini Program.

3.4.4 It's not allowed to sell, transfer, trade, illegally disclose or divulge the user data collected on the page or through the Mini Program in private.

3.4.5 It's not allowed to display user-related data, such as profile photo and nickname, without the user's authorization.

3.4.6 The Mini Program shall not require the user to reduce the security of the mobile phone operating system (such as requiring to jailbreak the user's iPhone user, obtaining Android user root, etc.) before he/she can use the relevant functions.

3.4.7 If the Mini Program has the function of tracking the user's geographic location, it must provide the function of exiting the location tracking and clear instructions.

3.5 Technology Realization Standardization

3.5.1 It's required to provide Mini Program documents and instructions

3.5.2 It is forbidden to play video, music, voice and other multimedia automatically

3.5.3 Programs that install or run other executable code will be rejected

3.5.4 Illegal loading or updating of codes will be rejected

3.5.5 If the Mini Program has an account system, it must provide an "exit" account option that is functional and easy to find.

3.6 UI Specification

3.6.1 It's required to comply with WeApp UI Specification

3.6.2 Flyout and popup windows in the Mini Program page can be closed

3.6.3 The interface of the Mini Program must comply with the appearance and features of Weixin. The provision of a user experience which alters the appearance and features of Weixin is not permitted.

3.6.4 The interface of the Mini Program shall not imitate the system notification or warning to induce the user to tap.

3.6.5 The logo of Mini Program's profile photo should have a transparent or colored background. If you want to use a white background, add a colored border.

3.6.6 If the interface providing services is required to be marked with special information according to relevant laws and regulations, it shall be distinctly marked. For example, the Mini Games must indicate the game approval number, online game publication number and copyright registration number at the prominent position on the game start screen, and publish the full text of Health Game Advice.
