# Certificate of conformity

Measures for the Administration of Animal Quarantine Article 3　These Measures shall apply to animal quarantine activities within the territory of the People's Republic of China.

Units and individuals engaged in animal breeding and business operation, production and business operation of animal products, as well as activities related to quarantine of animals and animal products must abide by these Measures.

Article 7　Animal quarantine officers shall conduct animal quarantine in accordance with the national standards and quarantine standards promulgated by the Ministry of Agriculture, quarantine objects and the relevant provisions of these Measures.

The animals and animal products that have passed the quarantine inspection shall be issued with the quarantine inspection certificate, affixed with the inspection seal or the quarantine mark prescribed by sealing.

Article 9　The issuance of quarantine compliance certificates and disinfection certificates shall be governed by the provisions on the filling out and use of animal epidemic prevention certificates and seals.

Article 19　Animals shall be purchased, transported and entered on the strength of the certificate of conformity of the quarantine of the place of origin(Plant, point)For slaughter. The animal quarantine officers shall be responsible for checking the quarantine certificate of the place of origin and the certificate of disinfection of the means of transport. Certificates of quarantine conformity and certificates of disinfection of places of origin of animals shall be kept for at least 12 months.
