# Halal food production and operation qualification

According to the Regulations on the Supervision and Administration of Halal Food in Shanxi Province:

Article 11　Enterprises and individual industrial and commercial households that apply for the production and operation of Muslim food shall apply to the administrative department of ethnic affairs of the local people's government at or above the county level for a Muslim food production and operation license and a Muslim sign board.

Article 12　The administrative department for ethnic affairs of the people's government at or above the county level shall, within 20 days from the date of receipt of the application, make a decision on approval or disapproval of the production and marketing of Muslim food in accordance with the conditions prescribed in paragraphs 1 and 3 of Article 10 of these Regulations respectively. If approved, a Halal food production and business license and a Halal sign plate shall be issuedIf the approval is not approved, the reasons shall be explained in writing to the applicant.

Article 13　Halal food production and operation license is valid for 2 years.

Halal food production and business license expires, need to renew, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Administrative License Law.
