# Regulations on the Administration of Pig Slaughter (Revised Draft for Soliciting Opinions)
Article 9 Designated hog slaughterhouses (farms) shall be organized by the people's governments at districted cities in accordance with the development plans for the hog slaughtering industry in agricultural, rural and The department in charge of ecological environment and other relevant departments shall, in accordance with the conditions as prescribed in this Regulation, conduct examination and determine it after soliciting the opinions of the department in charge of agriculture and rural affairs of the people's government of the province, autonomous region or municipality directly under the Central Government, and issue certificates and signboards for designated slaughtering of live pigs. A certificate for designated pig slaughter shall state the name of the slaughterhouse (site), the production address, the legal representative (person-in-charge) and other matters. Where a designated hog slaughterhouse (farm) changes its production address, it shall, in accordance with the provisions of these Regulations, reapply for a certificate of designated hog slaughterWhere the name of a slaughterhouse or its legal representative (person in charge) is changed, it shall, within 15 working days after the market supervision and administration department has gone through the formalities for the registration of the change, apply to the original certificate issuing authority for the certificate of the change of designated pig slaughter. The people's government at the level of a districted city shall publish the list of designated hog slaughterhouses (farms) it determines to the public in a timely manner, and report it to the people's government of the province, autonomous region, or municipality directly under the Central Government for the record.
