Article 9 of Measures for the Administration of Internet Hospitals (for Trial Implementation)
After accepting an application for formation, the health administrative department shall, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Regulation on the Administration of Medical Institutions and the Detailed Rules for the Implementation of the Regulation on the Administration of Medical Institutions, conduct an examination, and make a written reply of approval or disapproval within the prescribed time limit. Where approval for formation and agreement for using Internet hospital as their secondary name are granted, such approval and agreement shall be indicated in the Approval for Formation of a Medical Institution. Where the application for establishing an Internet hospital by a third-party institution is approved, the Approval for Formation of a Medical Institution shall be issued. A medical institution shall apply for practicing registration in accordance with the relevant laws, regulations and rules.
Article 24 of Regulation on the Administration of Medical Institutions
No entity or individual may provide diagnosis and treatment services without the Practicing License for a Medical Institution.
