If a Merchant wishes to control the sources of access to business resources, they can configure access control policies for user request-side IPs. Once successfully set up, this will effectively restrict access sources and prevent issues such as malicious IP theft and attacks.

Method of Setting Up

After logging into the WeChat Store Backend, go to „Service Market“ – „Self-developed“ – „IP Allowlist“. Enable the IP allowlist and enter the exempted IP addresses. (Only store administrators can perform this operation.)

Note: The IP allowlist will automatically become invalid if all IP addresses are deleted.

Effect After Setting Up

Once successfully set up, if a user’s IP address does not match any IP or IP range in the allowlist, a 403 status code will be directly returned when accessing the CDN node.

Notes:

  • A maximum of 200 IP addresses can be entered.
  • Only /8, /16, and /24 network segments are supported; other segments are not allowed.
  • The IP:port format is not supported.
