Article 16 of the Measures for the Administration of Access to Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products

Road motor vehicle production enterprises may produce and sell corresponding road motor vehicle products only after obtaining relevant access. Road motor vehicle production enterprises shall continue to maintain access conditions.

Measures for the Administration of Automobile Sales Article 12

Where a dealer sells an automobile sold without the authorization of a supplier, or an imported automobile sold without the approval of an overseas automobile production enterprise, it shall remind and explain to the consumer in writing, and inform the subject who bears the relevant responsibility to the consumer in writing. Without the authorization or termination of the authorization of the supplier, the dealer shall not engage in business activities in the name of the supplier's authorization to sell automobiles.
