# Instructions for using the free test duration

The cloud testing service allows users to customize the maximum duration of each test and provides each Weixin Mini Program 150 minutes per week **free test time to meet most project testing needs.

Note that the test duration here refers to the time the user actually executes the test case , downloading WeChat packages, and other processes such as real-world initialization do not account for the test time so the actual real-world execution time is greater than the test time.

# Rules for calculating test duration

When a user submits a test, the cloud test service automatically calculates the pre-deduction time based on maximum test time and number of test devices .The maximum test duration defaults and ranges vary for different tasks, as shown in the table

Note: Record playback is allocated machines based on the number of accounts used in the test plan, and each account will test 1 machine

Recording Playback and Minium testIn , in order to improve machine usage,deducts at least 10 minutes offor each test machine.When a use case runs for less than 10 minutes, deduct the 10 minutes, and distribute the number of use cases running on the machine accordingly

After the task is submitted, will first subtract the length of according to the maximum test time.When the test is over, according to the actual test time, will automatically return the extra deducted time .If the user cancels a task or a task that fails due to cloud testing service, the deduction time will also be automatically returned.

Note: Since April 2024, due to WeTest price adjustment, Android and iOS machines are the same price, cloud measurement removes Android timing coefficient. Android devices, like iOS, calculate the time according to the length of the test used

The basic rules for calculating test time are as follows:

# Apply for free extra time

When a user has just accessed a cloud testing service and needs to debug a script or use case, the free time per week may not be enough.

To facilitate users through the debugging period, the cloud testing service provides each project with the opportunity to apply for a 100-minute free additional time valid for 30 days .

Access to application: Go to theAdditional Hours Managementpage. If the project has not applied for additional hours, there is an application button in the top right corner. Click on the application (only developers or administrators of Weixin Mini Program have permission to apply).

Please note that each program can only be applied for 1 free extra time

# What if the time isn't enough?

Cloud testing services support two types of purchase:

• Buy extra time : You can buy extra time packages directly online, supporting the WeChat service market and Tencent cloud purchase.Specific reference document Purchase additional time
• Purchase Private Cloud : Projects can purchase private cloud tests directly.After the purchase of special aircraft, all the tests of the project go to the private cloud, test duration unlimited .Specific reference document
