# Cloud synchronization configuration

WeChat To improve the multi-terminal experience and personalized configuration experience for developers, WeChat Developer Tools has added a cloud-sync development configuration capability, which allows developers to synchronize their appearance, shortcut keys, and edit-related personalized configuration content at any time.

# Turn on the cloud synchronization configuration

In the menu bar at the top of the tool "Settings" The options select "General Settings" Go to the settings interface.

In the Settings screen, select GeneralIn the tab, find the "Cloud Synced Personalization" option and set the status to open to enable the personalization sync effect, which synchronizes each configuration update to the cloud.

# Turn off the cloud synchronization configuration

Developers can choose to turn off the "Cloud Sync Personalization" switch when they do not need to use cloud sync provisioning capabilities.In order to ensure that the settings match the subsequent development process, the WeChat developer tool displays a pop-up window, and developers can choose according to their needs:

• Cancel: Continue the cloud synchronization configuration;
• Turn off and delete cloud configurations: Turn off cloud synchronization configurations while settings adjustments that have been made in the cloud are removed;
• Determine shutdown: Turn off the cloud synchronization configuration and the settings adjustments made in the cloud will continue to be maintained.

# Flexible choice of cloud synchronous configuration versions

In situations where there is inconsistency or conflict between local and cloud configurations, such as multiple changes to the cloud synchronization switch, the tool prompts developers to display the cloud synchronisation time and select the best configuration.

• Ignore and turn off cloud synchronization: Turn off the cloud synchronization configuration while maintaining the local configuration content (i.e., the recently updated configuration);
• Use cloud configuration: Turn on cloud synchronization configuration while maintaining cloud configuration content;
• Use on-premises configuration: Turn on cloud synchronization configuration while maintaining the content of the on-premised configuration (i.e., the recently updated configuration).

This option occurs primarily in the following two situations:

• Multiple developers participate in the development and synchronize different cloud configuration adjustments;
• Developers adjust the cloud sync configuration several times, and set the appearance, shortcut keys, and editor for different configurations.

After the configuration selection is made, the WeChat developer tool displays a pop-up sync configuration progress.
