    # Overview of services

    Tenpay Global Checkout provides Weixin Mini Program merchants with one-stop access to mainstream payment methods around the world, enabling merchants to easily receive payments from consumers in small-scale scenarios across the world.The first phase of Tenpay Global Checkout service will be opened in Singapore , supporting bank card and local electronic payment methods, and will continue to cover more countries. Please developers stay tuned.

    # Scope of Openness

    # Consumer-facing range

    Consumers who support payment through Tenpay Global Checkouts need to meet the following conditions:

    1. WeChat Registration of mobile phone number: Consumers need to register for a WeChat user who is not a Mainland Chinese mobile phone number. WeChat users who are registered for a Mainlander mobile phone number are not currently allowed
    2. WeChat Account version: WeChat Account version is not less than 8.0.54, base library version is not less than 3.6.6. Below this basic library version will not be able to pull up the cashier, developers need to judge the user's version before calling, it is recommended to guide users to use Weixin Pay (interface wx.requestPayment ) or update WeChat account (interface wx.updateWeChatApp ).

    # Targeted to merchants

    Merchants who support the launch of a Tenpay Global Checkout service need to meet at least the following conditions:

    1. Merchant ownership: At present, only merchants whose registered place is Singapore can open Tenpay Global Checkout services. More merchant countries continue to cover, so please developers stay tuned.

    Note: If the Weixin Mini Program certification body is not Singapore, but has a subsidiary of a Singapore body that can be used for service initiation, you can contact the Tenpay Global Checkout team ( tenpayglobal_cko@tencent.com ) or Weixin Mini Program team ( miniprogram_global@tencent.com ) Request access to global cash registers to open

    # FAQ

    Q: Do I need to replace the original WeChat payment link to connect to the Tenpay Global Checkout?

    A：Tenpay Global Checkout provides overseas mainstream payment methods for Weixin Mini Program merchants, addressing the payment issues of local consumers in various countries within the Weixin Mini Program scenario.

    Currently, Tenpay Global Checkout and WeChat Pay have separate account opening procedures and fund flow chains. Therefore, for merchants who have already integrated WeChat Pay, the original fund flow chain remains unchanged. However, they need to complete the KYC process with Tenpay Global and settle accounts separately. In terms of API calls, directly invoking the WeChat Pay interface can still initiate WeChat Pay independently. When calling Tenpay Global Checkout interface, WeChat Pay and other overseas payment methods will be aggregated on the C-end (for Mini Program basic library version 3.6.6 and above).     Q：Does the Global Checkout only support Singapore at present? / Which regions will it expand to in the future?

    A：The first phase of Tenpay Global Checkout supports PayNow and bank cards in Singapore. Meanwhile, the regions of Macau and Japan are being actively prepared. In the future, more regions will be explored for opening. Please stay tuned, developers.
